Journey Further brings in tech pioneer as first CTO

12 May 2026

Journey Further has appointed Ben Terry as its first Chief Technology Officer, as the international agency powers up its data and technology offering for clients.

Based in London, Terry will join the Global Operations Team, reporting directly to CEO Robin Skidmore.

Terry brings nearly two decades of technology leadership to Journey Further, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Operations at Jellyfish.

As a founding partner of Splash Worldwide, a global creative production and technology agency acquired by Jellyfish in 2019, Terry was instrumental in transforming a London-based print production company into a multinational organization with offices across London, New York, Portland, Amsterdam, and Singapore.

Terry said:

“Joining Journey Further represents an extraordinary opportunity to reimagine how technology can transform performance marketing.” “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on creating technology ecosystems that enable agencies to win and retain prestigious clients while delivering exceptional service.”
In his new role, Terry will spearhead Journey Further’s technology strategy, overseeing the development of the agency’s proprietary marketing technology platform Salient, while integrating and optimizing back-office systems across the organisation.
“My vision is to leverage Journey Further’s Salient platform to break through traditional marketing limitations, creating more useful, responsive, and impactful client solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.”
The new role comes as the London, Leeds and New York-based agency continues its aggressive growth strategy. Journey Further has strategically expanded its leadership team within the past year, with Duncan Smith appointed Chief Product Officer to spearhead innovation, Lisa Vigorito’s role expanded to Chief Business Officer to drive operational and financial efficiencies. This year Lydia Hinchliff was also appointed Senior Director of Strategy, enhancing the agency’s strategic planning and execution and Alex Postance named VP of Activation, responsible for performance media capabilities and operational oversight. Commenting on the appointment, Robin Skidmore, CEO of Journey Further, said:
“Today’s clients face complex challenges that traditional marketing approaches can’t solve. By welcoming Ben to supercharge our technology capabilities and reimagining our global operations, we’re building solutions that drive measurable client outcomes through advanced performance marketing, enhanced creative experiences, and data-driven strategy.”
